TCF4 Antibody (MA573172) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of TCF4 on paraffin-embedded Mouse Brain tissue. Antigen retrieval by boiling in sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 15 min. Samples were incubated with TCF4 Recombinant Monoclonal (Product # MA573172) using a dilution at 1:200 overnight at 4°C. Followed by conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG antibody (Red). DAPI (Blue) was used to stain the cell nuclei.

TCF4 is transcription factor 4, a basic helix-turn-helix transcription factor. The encoded protein recognizes an Ephrussi-box ('E-box') binding site ('CANNTG')-a motif first identified in immunoglobulin enhancers. This gene is expressed predominantly in pre-B-cells, although it is found in other tissues as well. Defects in this gene are a cause of Pitt-Hopkins syndrome.
