TRABD2B Antibody (PA5-144356) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of HeLa cells with TRABD2B polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-144356) at 1:50, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L).

TRABD2B (TraB Domain Containing 2B) is a Protein Coding gene. Gene Ontology (GO) annotations related to this gene include metalloendopeptidase activity and Wnt-protein binding. An important paralog of this gene is TRABD2A. Metalloprotease that acts as a negative regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway by mediating the cleavage of the 8 N-terminal residues of a subset of Wnt proteins. Following cleavage, Wnt proteins become oxidized and form large disulfide-bond oligomers, leading to their inactivation. Able to cleave WNT3A, WNT5, but not WNT11. Required for head formation.
