We would like to invite you to submit an abstract for review and to share your research, breakthroughs, best practices, current challenges and findings with like-minded peers and colleagues during the poster sessions at the Human Identification Solutions Conference 2017 in Vienna. (In order to be eligible to present a poster at the HIDS conference you must have registered to attend. If you have not yet done so, please ensure you register using the conference registration form.)

HIDS Conference Vienna 2017 abstract submission requirements

Researchers submitting abstracts for review are asked to select the appropriate application area when completing the online submission form below.
This information will be utilised by the members of the programme committee during their review of submitted abstracts.

All research abstracts will be reviewed by the HIDS committee members and you will be contacted directly to confirm if your submission has been accepted. Please note that upon submission of your abstract, we will first send you a confirmation email giving you details of when you should hear back from us.

Please find below our participation guidelines:

  • The poster boards used at HIDS have a maximum usable surface space of 95cm wide by 241cm high. Posters must be in portrait format and can be any size up to the maximum dimensions previously quoted, however it would be preferable if they could be no larger than 90cm wide by 150cm high (35 x 59 inches)
  • An individual can be the presenting author of more than one abstract/poster
  • Delegates are responsible for the printing of the poster and transport to the conference. The HIDS 2017 organisation will not be able to print any posters for the delegates prior or on site during the event.
