Forensic/toxicology is a challenging field, and many analyses that are required are not considered routine. Samples and analytes are subject to change on a daily basis, but GC-MS technology is still the “gold standard” for many unknown analyses. For some analysis, a GC single quadrupole with deconvolution software is ideal. However, there are also more advanced cases which require additional capabilities.
