PEP-030 is an 18 amino acid (amino acids 718-735) synthetic peptide whose sequence is found in human RIP140. The sequence of this peptide is (amino to carboxy terminus): G718-N-P-T-K-G-R-V-K-K-K-E-K-T-P-L-R-D735
This peptide may be used for neutralization and control experiments with the polyclonal antibody that reacts with this product and human RIP140, catalog # PA1-841. Using a solution with equal weights per unit volume of peptide and corresponding antibody will yield a solution with a large molar excess of peptide that is able to competitively bind the antibody.
Reconstitute with 0.1 mL of distilled water.
Nuclear receptor interacting protein 1 is a nuclear protein that specifically interacts with the hormone-dependent activation domain AF2 of nuclear receptors. Also known as RIP140, this protein modulates transcriptional activity of the estrogen receptor.
