Western blot analysis of AP2 gamma in non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 µg). Samples were incubated with AP2 gamma polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-119518) using a dilution of 1:1,000 followed by HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG. Separated by 10% SDS-PAGE.

The encoded protein can act as either a homodimer or heterodimer with other family members and is induced during retinoic acid-mediated differentiation. It plays a role in the development of the eyes, face, body wall, limbs, and neural tube.
