AU5 Tag Antibody (A190-127A) in WB
Detection of AU5-tagged protein by western blot. Samples: 200, 100, or 50 ng of E. coli whole cell lysate expressing a multi-tag fusion protein. Antibodies: Affinity purified, rabbit anti-AU5 antibody (Product # A190-127A) used for WB at 0.2 µg/mL (1:5,000). Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 seconds.

AU5 is a commonly used epitope tag engineered onto the N- or C- terminus of a protein of interest so that the tagged protein can be analyzed and visualized by immunochemical methods. The recognized AU5 sequence represents the amino acid sequence TDFYLK.
