Western blot analysis of CACNG4 in mouse brain. Samples were incubated with CACNG4 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-96728) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) at a dilution of 1:10,000. Lysates/proteins: 25 µg per lane. Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST. Detection: ECL Enhanced Kit. Exposure time: 90s.

Although N-Type VDCC's exist before birth which is consistent with a role in migration, most N-Type VDCC's subunit expression is postnatal and is important in the genesis of synaptic transmission in discrete hippocampal fields.
