CENPC Antibody (PA5-103489) in IHC (P)
Immunohistochemistry analysis of CENPC in mouse brain tissue. The sample was formaldehyde fixed and a heat mediated antigen retrieval step in citrate buffer was performed. Samples were incubated with CENPC polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-103489) using a dilution of 1:100 (4°C overnight) followed by HRP conjugated anti-Rabbit secondary antibody.

Centromere protein C 1 is a centromere autoantigen and a component of the inner kinetochore plate. The protein is required for maintaining proper kinetochore size and a timely transition to anaphase. A putative pseudogene exists on chromosome 12.
