DDX1 Antibody (MA5-49262) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence analysis of DDX1 in Hela cells using DDX1 Monoclonal Antibody (3I10) (Product # MA5-49262). Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum and incubated with the primary antibody at 5 µg/mL. DyLight 488 conjugated goat anti-mouse IgG was used as secondary antibody at 1:100 dilution and incubated for 30 minutes at 37°C. Visualized using a fluorescence microscope and filter sets appropriate for the label used.

IHC: human prostatic acinar adenocarcinoma tissue, human colorectal adenocarcinoma tissue, human ovarian cancer tissue, human spleen tissue, human squamous cell cervical carcinoma tissue, mouse brain tissue, mouse brain tissue, rat brain tissue, rat brain tissue. ICC/IF: Hela cell. Flow: MCF-7 cell.|Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

DDX1 (ATP-dependent RNA helicase DDX1) acts as an ATP-dependent RNA helicase. It is able to unwind both RNA-RNA and RNA-DNA duplexes. DDX1 possesses 5' single-stranded RNA overhand nuclease activity and ATPase activity on various RNA, but not DNA polynucleotides. DDX1, together with RELA, acts as a coactivator to enhance NF-kappa-b-mediated transcriptional activation. It also acts as a positive transcriptional regulator of cyclin CCND2 expression. It binds to the cyclin CCND2 promoter region. DDX1 is a component of a multi-helicase-TICAM1 complex that acts as a cytoplasmic sensor of viral double stranded RNA and plays a role in activation of a cascade of antiviral responses including the induction of proinflammatory cytokines via the adapter molecule TICAM1.
