Western blot analysis of DLX6 in Mouse tissue extract (50 µg). Samples were separated with 12% SDS-PAGE and incubated in DLX6 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-117382) using a dilution of 1:1,000, followed by HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG.

This family is comprised of at least 6 different members that encode proteins with roles in forebrain and craniofacial development. This gene is in a tail-to-tail configuration with another member of the family on the long arm of chromosome 7.
