Eotaxin Antibody (PA5-46946) in IHC (F)
Immunohistochemical analysis of Eotaxin in perfusion fixed frozen sections of mouse thymus. Samples were incubated with Eotaxin polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-46946) using a dilution of 5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C followed by NorthernLights™ 557-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG Secondary Antibody (red) and counterstained with DAPI (blue). Specific staining was localized to cytoplasm.

In Western blots, approximately 50% cross-reactivity with recombinant human CCL11/Eotaxin and recombinant mouse (rm) MARC is observed, and less than 2% cross-reactivity with rmJE is observed.
Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Endoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.

This gene is one of several Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q-arm of chromosome 17. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for eosinophils, but not mononuclear cells or neutrophils. This eosinophil specific chemokine assumed to be involved in eosinophilic inflammatory diseases such as atopic dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, asthma and parasitic infections.
