Immunofluorescent analysis of FA96A in WiDr cells using confocal microscopy. Samples were incubated with FA96A H1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-71503) followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green) as a secondary antibody. Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue).

As a CIA complex component and in collaboration with CIAO1 specifically matures ACO1 and stabilizes IREB2, connecting cytosolic iron-sulfur protein maturation with cellular iron regulation (PubMed:23891004).
