GAS8 Antibody (CF808629) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY GAS8 (RC211150, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-GAS8. (1. Positive lysates LY419922 (100 µg) and LC419922 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

This gene includes 11 exons spanning 25 kb and maps to a region of chromosome 16 that is sometimes deleted in breast and prostrate cancer. The second intron contains an apparently intronless gene, C16orf3, that is transcribed in the opposite orientation. This gene is a putative tumor suppressor gene.
