GLUT9 Antibody (PA5-143879) in ICC/IF
Immunocytochemistry analysis of GLUT9 in A549 cells. Enzyme antigen retrieval was performed using IHC enzyme antigen retrieval reagent for 15 mins. The cells were blocked with 10% goat serum. Samples were then incubated in GLUT9 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-143879) using a dilution of 2 μg/mL. GLUT9, or SLC2A9, is a member of the SLC2A facilitative glucose transporter family. Members of this family play a significant role in maintaining glucose homeostasis. GLUT9 may play a role in the development and survival of chondrocytes in cartilage matrices. Two transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
