HDAC6 Antibody (MA562374) in ICC/IF

Immunocytochemistry analysis of HDAC6 in formaldehyde-fixed and Triton-permeabilized HEK-293T cells (A) and SH-SY5Y cells (B). Samples were incubated with HDAC6 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA562374) followed by anti-mouse Alexa Fluor 488 (green). DNA indicated by DAPI (blue). In SH-SY5Y cells tubulin was stained by a rabbit polyclonal antibody, followed by anti-rabbit Alexa Fluor 647 (red, colocalization yellow).

HDAC6 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of HDAC6 in HEK-293T cells. Samples were incubated with HDAC6 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA562374) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by HRP-conjugated anti-mouse secondary antibody. Reducing conditions. PVDF membrane was blocked in 5% milk.

HDAC6 Antibody in Flow Cytometry (Flow) — Flow cytometry (intracellular staining) of HDAC6 in K562 cells. Samples were incubated with HDAC6 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA562374) using a dilution of 5.33 µg/mL. Unstained K562 cells (black-dashed).

Responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Histone deacetylation gives a tag for epigenetic repression and plays an important role in transcriptional regulation, cell cycle progression and developmental events. Histone deacetylases act via the formation of large multiprotein complexes. Plays a central role in microtubule-dependent cell motility via deacetylation of tubulin.
