Immunocytochemistry-Immunofluorescence analysis of LINGO1 was performed in DIV9 rat E18 primary cortical neuron cells fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min. Green: LINGO1 Polyclonal Antibody (Product # PA5-31282) diluted at 1:500. Red: beta Tubulin 3/ Tuj1, stained by beta Tubulin 3/ Tuj1 antibody. Blue: Fluoroshield with DAPI.

Functional component of the Nogo receptor signaling complex (RTN4R/NGFR) in RhoA activation responsible for some inhibition of axonal regeneration by myelin-associated factors (PubMed:14966521, PubMed:15694321). Is also an important negative regulator of oligodentrocyte differentiation and axonal myelination (PubMed:15895088).
