MPRIP/M-RIP Antibody (A304-823A) in IP
Detection of human MPRIP/M-RIP by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-MPRIP/M-RIP antibody (Product # A304-823A) (lot 1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. MPRIP/M-RIP was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-MPRIP/M-RIP antibody A304-822A. For blotting immunoprecipitated MPRIP/M-RIP, A304-823A was used at 1 µg/mL. 靶标信息
Targets myosin phosphatase to the actin cytoskeleton. Required for the regulation of the actin cytoskeleton by RhoA and ROCK1. Depletion leads to an increased number of stress fibers in smooth muscle cells through stabilization of actin fibers by phosphorylated myosin. Overexpression of MRIP as well as its F-actin-binding region leads to disassembly of stress fibers in neuronal cells.
