Immunohistochemistry analysis of PTBP2 in paraffin-embedded mouse testis. Samples were incubated with PTBP2 Polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-96498) using a dilution of 1:100 (40x lens). Perform high pressure antigen retrieval with 10 mM citrate buffer pH 6.0 before commencing with IHC staining protocol.

PTBP2 encodes a protein that binds to the intronic cluster of RNA regulatory elements, downstream control sequence (DCS). It is implicated in controlling the assembly of other splicing-regulatory proteins. This protein is very similar to the polypyrimidine tract binding protein but it is expressed primarily in the brain.
