PTCH2 Antibody (CF804800) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY PTCH2 (RC224642, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-PTCH2. Positive lysates LY418463 (100 µg) and LC418463 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

Mutations of the human Patched tumor suppressor gene (PTCH) have been identified in individuals with the nevoid basal cell carcinoma syndrome (NBCCS) as well as in sporadic basal cell carcinomas and medulloblastomas. PTCH2 has a frameshift mutation resulting in a truncated PTCH2 protein.
