PTGER4 Antibody (PA5-111889) in WB
Western Blot analysis of PTGER4 was performed in human THP-1 monocytic leukemia cell line lysate (lanes 1 and 3) and human Jurkat T-cell leukemia cell line lysate (lanes 2 and 4). Lane 1,2: PTGER4 Antibody (Product # PA5-111889) at a dilution of 1:400. Lane 3,4: PTGER4 Antibody preincubated with the negative control antigen.

Reconstitute antibody with 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW). The reconstituted solution can be stored at 4 degrees C for up to 1 week. For longer periods, small aliquots should be stored at -20 degrees C. Avoid multiple freezing and thawing. Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10000 x g 5 min).

The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the G-protein coupled receptor family. This protein is one of four receptors identified for prostaglandin E2. This receptor can activate T-cell factor signaling. It has been shown to mediate PGE2 induced expression of early growth response 1, regulate the level and stability of cyclooxygenase-2 mRNA, and lead to the phosphorylation of glycogen synthase kinase-3. Knockout studies in mice suggest that this receptor may be involved in the neonatal adaptation of circulatory system, osteoporosis, as well as initiation of skin immune responses.
