RARRES1 Antibody (CF506091) in WB
HEK293T cells were transfected with the pCMV6-ENTRY control (Left lane) or pCMV6-ENTRY RARRES1 (RC205143, Right lane) cDNA for 48 hrs and lysed. Equivalent amounts of cell lysates (5 µg per lane) were separated by SDS-PAGE and immunoblotted with anti-RARR. Positive lysates LY404197 (100 µg) and LC404197 (20 µg) can be purchased separately from OriGene.

For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL. This gene was identified as a retinoid acid (RA) receptor-responsive gene. It encodes a type 1 membrane protein. The expression of this gene is upregulated by tazarotene as well as by retinoic acid receptors. The expression of this gene is found to be downregulated in prostate cancer, which is caused by the methylation of its promoter and CpG island. Alternatively spliced transcript variant encoding distinct isoforms have been observed.
