SENP2 Antibody in Immunocytochemistry (ICC/IF) — Immunofluorescent analysis of SENP2 in COS7 cells. Cells were transfected with a plasmid overexpressing SENP2 and probed with a SENP2 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-25987).

SENP2 Antibody in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) (IHC (P)) — Immunohistochemistry was performed on paraffin-embedded adenocarcinoma of human endometrium tissue. To expose target proteins, 10mM citric buffer, pH6.0, 100°C for 10min was used. Following antigen retrieval, tissues were probed with a SENP2 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-25987).

SENP2 Antibody in Western Blot (WB) — Western blot analysis of SENP2 in HEK293T cells in untransfected (Left lane) and transfected (Right lane) samples using 5 µg per lane. The samples were separated by SDS-PAGE and probed with SENP2 (Product # MA5-25987) monoclonal antibody.

SUMO is a small ubiquitin-like protein that can be covalently conjugated to other proteins. SENP2 is one of a group of enzymes that process newly synthesized SUMO1, SUMO2, and SUMO3 into the conjugatable mature forms and catalyze the deconjugation of these same SUMO proteins from their targeted substrates. SENP2 may also down-regulate CTNNB1 levels and thereby modulate the Wnt pathway.
