SERPINA6 Antibody (PA5-48038) in WB
Western blot analysis of SERPINA6 in NRK‚49F rat fibroblasts and rat liver tissue. Samples were incubated in SERPINA6 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-48038) using a dilution of 1 µg/mL followed by a HRP-conjugated Anti-Goat IgG secondary antibody. A specific band was detected for Serpin A6 at approximately 60 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions.

This gene encodes an alpha-globulin protein with corticosteroid-binding properties. This is the major transport protein for glucorticoids and progestins in the blood of most vertebrates. The gene localizes to a chromosomal region containing several closely related serine protease inhibitors which may have evolved by duplication events.
