SSBP1 Antibody (PA1-27871) in ICC/IF
Immunofluorescent analysis of SSBP1 (red) in HeLa cells. HeLa cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldyhyde, permeabilized with 1% Triton X-100 in PBS and blocked with 10% goat serum. Cells were probed with a SSBP1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA1-27871) at a dilution of 1:1000 followed by a fluorescently-conjugated goat anti-chicken IgY secondary antibody. PA1-27871 may be successfully used in IF and Western blot applications. By Western blot, this antibody has only been tested on fusion protein.

This protein binds preferentially and cooperatively to ss-DNA. Probably involved in mitochondrial DNA replication. SSBP is a housekeeping gene involved in mitochondrial biogenesis.
