PA1-1061 detects human and mouse TC10 protein in transfected cell samples and endogenous levels in tissue extracts. PA1-1061 is specific for isotype TC10a and demonstrates slight cross-reactivity with TC10b.
PA1-1061 has successfully been used in immunoprecipitation and Western blot procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ~24 kDa protein representing TC10 in transfected COS cells and a non-specific, unidentified band at ~50 kDa.
The PA1-1061 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding D(136) P K T L A R L N D M K E K P I C(152) from human TC10. This peptide (Cat. # PEP-219) is available for use in neutralization and control experiments.
