TRA2-alpha Antibody (A303-778A) in IP
Detection of human TRA2-alpha by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TRA2-alpha antibody (Product # A303-778A) used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. TRA2-alpha was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-TRA2-alpha antibody A303-779A, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated TRA2-alpha, A303-779A was used at 0.4 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

TRA2A (Transformer 2 alpha) is a member of the transformer 2 homolog family and encodes a protein with two RS domains and an RRM (RNA recognition motif) domain. It is a sequence specific RNA binding protein which participates in the regulation of pre-mRNA splicing.
