TRAP100/MED24 Antibody (A301-472A) in WB
Detection of human TRAP100/MED24 by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from RKO, GaMG, HEK293T, LNCaP, and Jurkat cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TRAP100/MED24 antibody (Product # A301-472A lot 2) used for WB at 1 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 3 minutes.

This gene encodes a component of the mediator complex, a transcriptional coactivator complex thought to be required for the expression of almost all genes. The mediator complex is recruited by transcriptional activators or nuclear receptors to induce gene expression, possibly by interacting with RNA polymerase II and promoting the formation of a transcriptional pre-initiation complex. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
