TRMT1L/C1orf25 Antibody (A305-120A) in WB
Detection of human and mouse TRMT1L by western blot. Samples: Whole cell lysate (50 µg) from HeLa, HEK293T, Jurkat, mouse TCMK-1, and mouse NIH 3T3 cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibody: Affinity purified rabbit anti-TRMT1L antibody (Product # A305-120A) (lot A305-120A-1) used for WB at 0.4 µg/mL. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

This gene encodes a protein that has some similarity to N2,N2-dimethylguanosine tRNA methyltransferase from other organisms. Studies of the mouse ortholog have shown that this protein plays a role in motor coordination and exploratory behavior, and it may also be involved in modulating postnatal neuronal functions. Alternatively spliced transcripts have been identified for this gene.
