OprI is a protein that is found in the outer membrane of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, a common bacterium that can cause infections in humans. OprI is part of a family of proteins called Opr proteins, which are involved in various cellular processes including nutrient uptake and antibiotic resistance. OprI has been shown to play a role in the virulence of P. aeruginosa by promoting bacterial survival and evasion of the host immune response.
