Dr. Cristina Román’s scientific background is in Macromolecular and Physical Chemistry. Since her start at Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2007, Cristina has mainly specialized in Thermo Scientific LIMS software solutions and their application in Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, CRO, Petrochemical, Metals and Mining, Food and Beverage, Environmental, Water, Public Health, and other industrial sectors. In her role as Global Manager of Technical Sales at the Digital Science Business Unit, she develops sales strategies and standards for technical product demonstrations and coordinates the technical solutions team to provide customer-facing demonstrations, presentations and workshops.

La formación científica de la Dra. Cristina Román es en Química Macromolecular y Física. Desde su inicio en Thermo Fisher Scientific en 2007, Cristina se ha especializado principalmente en soluciones del software Thermo Scientific LIMS y su aplicación en farmacéutica, ciencias biológicas, investigación clínica, petroquímica, minería y metalurgia, alimentos y bebidas, medio ambiente, agua, salud pública y otros sectores industriales En su papel de Gerente Global de Ventas Técnicas en la Unidad de Negocios de Ciencia Digital, desarrolla estrategias y estándares de ventas para demostraciones técnicas de productos y coordina el equipo de soluciones técnicas para proporcionar demostraciones, presentaciones y talleres orientados al cliente.

Paola Vital has a degree in Biological Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a Master’s in Industrial Administration at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Prior to her role at Thermo Fisher Scientific, Paola worked at the National Institute of Cardiology “Ignacia Chávez” in Mexico for 2 years and at Teva Pharmaceuticals Laboratory for 8 years. Her work has given her a breadth of experience in quality assurance and quality control as she was the Quality Inspector, Documentary Chemist, and Quality Project Manager at Teva. Paola has now been with Thermo Fisher Scientific for 5 years. Paola’s role as a LIMS Technical Solutions Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific provides support in the delivery of software demonstrations, customer trainings, and advice on the acquisition of LIMS software. 

Paola Vital es licenciada Química Farmacobióloga con una Maestría en Administración Industrial en la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Antes de su cargo en Thermo Fisher Scientific, Paola trabajó en el Instituto Nacional de Cardiología "Ignacia Chávez" en México durante 2 años y en el Laboratorio de Productos Farmacéuticos Teva durante 8 años. Su trabajo le ha brindado una amplia experiencia en garantía de calidad y control de calidad, ya que fue Inspectora de Calidad y Gerente de Proyectos Teva. Paola ha estado con Thermo Fisher Scientific durante 5 años. El papel de Paola como Gerente de Soluciones Técnicas LIMS en Thermo Fisher Scientific brinda apoyo en la entrega de demostraciones de software, capacitación de clientes y asesoramiento sobre la adquisición del software LIMS.
