The EU Commission stipulates sampling levels and frequencies for residues in vegetable and animal products and matrices in order to check for illegitimate used substances. Compared to time and effort to fulfill these requirements the number of used sample preparation and instrument methods increased. This indicates that there is a clear need for quick and simple screening and quantification methods to routinely and accurately control levels of residues. The presentation demonstrates that with the Thermo Scientific Exactive Plus, a high-resolution mass spectrometer, it is possible to screen and quantify in one chromatographic run with reliable results in determination and quantification.
