Our journey began in the lab

In the 1960s, our scientists, who were avid hikers, hit the trail with one of their durable, leakproof, and lightweight Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ lab bottles. And just like that, a new product was born—Nalgene water bottles. What started in the lab soon became an iconic reusable water bottle for hikers, travelers, athletes, and everyday users alike.
