In IHC/ICC and WB experiments, we recommend a 100x molar excess of the protein fragment control based on the concentration and the molecular weight. It plays a role as an activator of the integrated stress response required for adapatation to amino acid starvation. Mutations in the gene lead to pulmonary vennocclusive disease 2.
