The Chicken CORT (Corticosterone) ELISA quantitates CORT in serum and plasma.
原理方法
The Chicken Corticosterone (CORT) solid-phase competitive ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is designed to measure the concentration of Corticosterone (CORT) in biological samples. A target-specific antibody has been pre-coated in the wells of the supplied microplate. Samples, standards, or controls are added into these wells and bind to the immobilized (capture) antibody.
Chicken Corticosterone (CORT) in samples (or standards) competes with a fixed amount of Corticosterone (CORT) immobilized on the solid phase for binding to the HRP-linked detection antibody specific to Corticosterone (CORT). Excess conjugate and unbound sample or standard are washed from the plate.
A substrate solution is added that reacts with the enzyme-antibody complex to produce a measurable signal. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The intensity of this signal, measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 ± 2 nm, is inversely proportional to the concentration of Corticosterone (CORT) present in the original specimen.
