The Human Phosphorylated Neurofilament H ELISA Kit (pNF-H) ELISA quantitates pNF H in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
原理方法
The Human Phosphorylated Neurofilament H (pNF H) solid phase sandwich ELISA (enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) is designed to measure the amount of the target bound between a matched antibody pair. A target specific antibody has been pre coated in the wells of the supplied microplate. Samples are then added into these wells and bind to the immobilized (capture) antibody. The sandwich is formed by the binding of the second (detector) antibody to the target on a different epitope from the capture antibody. An antibody conjugated with enzyme binds the formed sandwich. After incubation and washing steps to rid the microplate of unbound substances.

Involved in the maintenance of neuronal caliber, neurofilaments are the intermediate filament proteins found specifically in neurons, and are composed predominantly of three major proteins called NF-L, NF-M and NF-H. Like most other intermediate filament proteins (IFPs), the expression of the different neuronal IFPs is both tissue-specific and developmentally regulated. NF-H has an important role in mature axons and is involved in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
