The Mouse TWEAK R (CD266/TNFRSF12A) ELISA quantitates Ms TWEAK R in mouse serum, plasma, or cell culture medium. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant Ms TWEAK R.
原理方法
The Mouse TWEAK R solid-phase sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is designed to measure the amount of the target bound between a matched antibody pair. A target-specific antibody has been pre-coated in the wells of the supplied microplate. Samples, standards, or controls are then added into these wells and bind to the immobilized (capture) antibody. The sandwich is formed by the addition of the second (detector) antibody, a substrate solution is added that reacts with the enzyme-antibody-target complex to produce measurable signal. The intensity of this signal is directly proportional to the concentration of target present in the original specimen.

TWEAK is a member of the TNF family and was first described as a weak inducer of apoptosis in demonstrate that this relatively small molecule is a fully transformed cell lines. Recently, a receptor for TWEAK was isolated by expression cloning from a HUVEC cell cDNA library. TweakR is a small protein belonging to TNF receptor super family. TweakR is capable of intiating a proliferative signal by binding to TRAF1, 2, and 3. TweakR mRNA is upregulated during tissue regeneration in the aorta and liver. It may also play a role in vascular cell migration and angiogenesis.
