What comes with the Chromate, Quant Test Strips?

When you purchase the Chromate, Quant Test Strips, you will receive the following:

• 1 Tube containing 100 test strips
• 1 bottle of reagent CrO4-1
• 1 test vessel with 5 mL mark

What are the graduations of the Chromate, Quant Test Strips?

The graduations are as follows: 3 – 10 – 30 – 100 mg/L CrO4^2-

What instructions should I use for the Chromate, Quant Test Strips?

We recommend the following instructions for the Chromate, Quant Test Strips:
1. Rinse the test vessel several times with the sample.
2. Fill the test vessel to the 5 mL mark with sample.
3. Add Reagent CrO4-1 dropwise until the pH of the solution is below 1. This can be checked with pH test strips (not included).
4. Immerse the reaction zone of the test strip in the sample for 1 second.
5. Allow excess liquid to run off via the long edge of the strip onto an absorbent paper towel.
6. After 15 seconds, compare the color of the reaction zone to the color field on the label.
7. Read off the corresponding result.
