通过在 37°C 下添加 100-150 mM DTT 并保持30分钟,可轻松逆转 DTBP 交联。DMS(DTBP 的不可切割类似物)可用于需要稳定、不可切割键的应用。DTSSP(DTBP 的 NHS 酯类似物)也可用于需要在生理 pH 值下交联或在高 pH 值下交联产物更稳定的应用。DTBP 和 DMS 对伯胺的交联活性基本相同。
