Can I cut a 96-well FAST plate to fit the StepOne system?

No, the MicroAmp Fast Optical 48-Well Reaction Plate (P/N 4375816) is the only plate that can be used on the StepOne system. Using a plate that has not been designed for use with the StepOne Real-Time PCR System is not recommended and can potentially damage the instrument.
