The Thermo Scientific™ Sorvall™ ST1 and ST1R General Purpose Plus Centrifuges provides quality and versatility with an easy-to-use, keypad and high contrast LCD display. With up to a 1.6 L capacity, they allow spinning 84 blood tubes, 16 x 50 mL conical tubes, 36 x 15 mL conical tubes and 10x standard microplates with biocontainment. Maximum versatility is achieved with 15 available rotors to choose from and Thermo Scientific™ Auto-Lock™ Rotor Exchange to quickly change between applications. These models are manufactured in China, exclusively for customers in China and are available for purchase individually or in convenient application-based packages.

Thermo Scientific™ ClickSeal™ Biocontainment Lids:

  • Biocontainment sealing options for glove-friendly, one-handed open/close capability are ergonomically designed for both right and left-handed operations
  • Audible and visual closure cues enhance safety and security
  • Biocontainment certification by National Institute for Health Protection, Porton Down, UK or TÜV NORD CERT GmbH, Germany

Rotor versatility and Thermo Scientific™ Fiberlite™ Carbon Fiber Rotors:

  • Up to 15 unique rotor options, including Fiberlite Carbon Fiber Rotor options, to help maximize performance and flexibility
  • Fiberlite carbon fiber rotors are supported by a 15-year warranty and no limitation in cycles of use
  • Carbon fiber offers a unique ability to mold each cavity to perfectly fit disposable conical tubes, bottles, and other consumables

Safety and ergonomic features:

  • Space saving design with compact dimensions to optimize work area at an ergonomic height
  • Lid safety features promote ergonomic sample loading and unloading and enable easy cleaning

Energy efficiency:

  • System offers up to 40% energy consumption savings on industry standard protocols, such as standard blood separation or conical tube processing
