What are the input requirements for Ion TargetSeq library construction? What if I don't have enough sample?

We recommend starting with 1 µg of high quality, RNA-free genomic DNA for the best results. Libraries have been generated with inputs as low as 100 ng, but at the cost of reduced complexity. Please speak with your local Field Applications Scientist for further details.

What is the maximum target size for Ion TargetSeq Custom Enrichment kits?

Ion TargetSeq Custom Enrichment kits enable the enrichment of customer-specified target regions between 0.1 Mb and 60 Mb in size and are offered in a variety of kit configurations to meet most researchers' needs. These enrichment kits utilize protocols optimized for small (<2 Mb) or large (>2 Mb) target regions.
