Why can I only buy the TrueCut Cas9 Protein (Prototype) today and not the full CTS product?

Real-time stability data is still being collected for full certification of the CTS product. During this period, we are making the same material available in prototype form, without full validation and real time stability information, to aid in preclinical development.

Can I use the TrueCut Cas9 Protein (Prototype) for clinical manufacturing?

The product is marked for "Research Use Only" and is acceptable for preclinical work. Our goal is provide this material to scientists in CTS format as early as possible to aid in preclinical development for cell therapy.

What is the difference between TrueCut Cas9 Protein (Prototype) and TrueCutCas9 Protein v2?

Both products are the same CRISPR-Cas9 protein, but the TrueCut Cas9 Protein is manufactured with a new production process and formulated to meet the standards for Ancillary Materials for Cell and Tissue-Based Products.
