The Enzymatic Fragmentation DNA Library Prep with Amp Mix is a DNA library preparation kit for enzymatic fragmentation of purified genomic DNA and generation of amplified, indexed libraries for target enrichment and next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows.
Designed for use with the Library Index Adapter Kit, the workflow integrates fragmentation, end-repair, dA-tailing, adapter ligation, amplification, cleanup, and quality control in a streamlined format optimized for downstream hybridization-based enrichment.
Key features:
Detailed description
Streamlined workflow. The protocol is designed for purified gDNA input and combines enzymatic fragmentation, end-repair, dA-tailing, adapter ligation, PCR amplification, cleanup, and QC in a single library preparation workflow.
Consistent library quality. Using the recommended input conditions, final amplified libraries are expected to average 375-425 bp, with a single prominent peak near 400 bp to support efficient downstream hybridization-based enrichment.
Integrated downstream compatibility. The kit is for use with the Library Index Adapter Kit for sample indexing and with Thermo Fisher target enrichment reagents for standard or quick capture workflows.
