Is the Lysis Buffer (Cat. No. A45735) compatible with the AccelerOme Label-Free MS Sample Prep Kit?

The Lysis Buffer (Cat. No. A45735) has been designed to be used with manual EasyPep MS Sample Prep Kits. The format of the Lysis Buffer container is not compatible with the AccelerOme platform and therefore it cannot be used with the AccelerOme Label-Free MS Sample Prep Kit.

The AccelerOme Label-Free MS Sample Prep Kit has been developed to be used in the AccelerOme Automated Sample Preparation Platform. If you do not have the AccelerOme Automated Sample Preparation Platform, we recommend using EasyPep MS Sample Prep Kits (Cat. No. A40006, A57864, A45733 or A45734, depending on the number of reactions you would like to perform).

Which type of samples can be used with the AccelerOme Label-Free MS Sample Prep Kit?

The AccelerOme Label-Free MS Sample Prep Kit was initially optimized for proteins extracted from plasma, serum, cells, and tissue. However, it has also been demonstrated to work with bacteria and yeast samples. The AccelerOme Label-Free MS Sample Prep Kit allows working with samples containing between 1 to 100 µg of protein.

How should I use the AccelerOme Label-Free MS Sample Prep Kit in the AccelerOme Automated Sample Preparation Platform?

All the buffers, reagents and other components in the AccelerOme Label-Free MS Sample Prep Kit come in a ready-to-use tray that has to be positioned into the AccelerOme Automated Sample Preparation Platform. Once placed on the device, the rest of the procedure is automated.
