The shelf-life of Efficient-Pro Feed 1 is 12 months from the date of manufacture. The expiration date is provided on the product label.

The comprehensive feed protocol for Efficient-Pro Feed 1 is included in the user guide (https://assets.thermofisher.com/TFS-Assets/LSG/manuals/MAN0025905_EfficientProFeed1_UG.pdf). We recommend first designing a small-scale experiment using an Ambr15 Microbioreactor or other small vessel with concentrations between 1.5% to 3.0% of Efficient-Pro Feed 1 in 0.5% increments beginning on day 3, with daily feeds through harvest. Once the specific feeding strategy is tailored to your CHO cell system for optimized results, cultures can be scaled up to larger vessels and bioreactors.
