How is Gibco CTS HiFi Cas9 Protein (Cat. No. A54223, A54224) different from Gibco CTS TrueCut Cas9 Protein (Cat. No. A45220, A45221)?

Gibco CTS TrueCut Cas9 Protein (Cat. No. A45220, A45221) is a Streptococcus pyogenes Cas9 wild-type protein, produced by recombinant DNA technology in E. coli and Gibco CTS HiFi Cas9 Protein (Cat. No. A54223, A54224) is a Streptococcus pyogenes high-fidelity CRISPR Cas9 protein, produced by recombinant DNA technology in E. coli. Both proteins are designed and manufactured in compliance with GMP.

How is Gibco CTS HiFi Cas9 Protein (Cat. No. A54223, A54224) different from Invitrogen TrueCut HiFi Cas9 Protein (Cat. No. A50574, A50575)?

Both Gibco CTS HiFi Cas9 Protein (Cat. No. A54223, A54224) and Invitrogen TrueCut HiFi Cas9 Protein (Cat. No. A50574, A50575) are Streptococcus pyogenes high-fidelity CRISPR Cas9 proteins, produced by recombinant DNA technology in E. coli. Both proteins have the same sequence with added nuclear localization signal. Gibco CTS HiFi Cas9 Protein is manufactured to meet the standards for “Ancillary Materials for Cell, Gene, and Tissue-Based Products” whereas Invitrogen TrueCut HiFI Cas9 Protein is a research-grade product.
