Yes, the product is still good to use. We ship many of our products at a higher temperature than the storage recommendation. The product will be stable for at least one week at the shipping temperature when in the original, unopened packaging. For long-term stability, the product should be placed at the recommended storage temperature upon receipt.

The ATTO-TAG FQ Amine Derivatization Kit (Cat. No. A2334) contains a potassium cyanide (KCN) component (component B). This component has been removed in the ATTO-TAG FQ Plus Amine Derivatization Kit (Cat. No. A66521) and replaced with mandelonitrile which serves as a less toxic alternative to KCN without compromising assay performance.

The ATTO-TAG FQ Plus Amine Derivatization Kit does not have an expiration date. The kit is guaranteed for 12 months from date of shipment, when stored as indicated, in the original unopened packaging. Stock solutions should be stable for 6 months after reconstitution of the ATTO-TAG FQ (component A) provided good quality methanol is used for reconstitution (methanol not included in the kit).
