Does the yellow dye from the Yellow Sample Buffer provided with Luminaris Color and DyNAmo Flash qPCR Master Mixes influence qPCR performance?

The addition of yellow dye from the Yellow Sample Buffer to qPCR reaction has no influence on the efficiency, specificity, sensitivity or Cq values. Using the Yellow Sample Buffer is optional, but the dye helps to see in which wells the sample has been already added.

Do I need to use Fast plastics to run a Fast qPCR reaction?

Specialized Fast PCR plates are not required if you are using a standard qPCR machine with a fast protocol. However, Fast Block PCR Plates (AB-1900) can be purchased which are compatible with the thermal blocks on fast qPCR thermal cyclers.
