The Ion AmpliSeq Polyploidy Panel is a single pool design for germline SNP detection and supplies sufficient reagents for running up to 96 samples.

How much of each sample is needed for the Ion AmpliSeq Polyploidy Panel?

We recommend using at least 3 cells from embryo biopsy samples, keeping in mind that data quality increases with input. We have tested up to 10 cells in house but expect good tolerance at higher levels. If using gDNA, we recommend using at least 75 pg. Please note that dilutions of gDNA are prone to loss to plastics.
